SANDAKAN: GRS is gaining popularity now that the people have started to see changes and results from the close cooperation between Sabah, Sarawak and Malaya.

Sabah is now receiving more attention from the Federal Government, said Karamunting Assemblyman George Hiew.He reminded the branch heads and committee members to work harder and be a bridge or mediator between the government and the people.

“I hope that all the branches under Gagasan Rakyat in the Karamunting division will work closely together and become “agents” for the government to understand and know the problems and complaints of the people in Karamunting and convey them to the government so that solutions can be achieved and services improved,” he said.

He hoped the Karamunting Division would continue to receive support from the local people in order to be united towards achieving progress and prosperity.
